Ingredients
- 1 lb red merlot beans
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/8 cup garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- juice of one medium lemon
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin (optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric (optional)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Soak your beans overnight or in hot water for 1-2 hours.
- Cook until soft.
- Place all ingredients in your food processor and process until completely smooth.
- Transfer to a serving bowl. For an extra touch, sprinkle with toppings like chili, thyme, sumac, sesame seeds, olive oil and turmeric.
